After playing sports my whole life, I picked up several injuries along the way. It wasn't until I underwent my academic career that I realised many of these injuries could have been prevented. I could have stayed in the industry of rehabilitating injuries, however, I believe it is more effective to prevent said injuries from occurring in the first place. This is especially important when it comes to the development stages of youth athletes. This radical way of thinking is up and coming within the sporting and academic communities and I want to help spread the knowledge.
